Just a beautiful open faced nickel case pocket watch circa 1920. Returned to its former good looking self.
We fitted a new set of hands, heat blued to match original shape and type. Case polished. Dial cleaned.
We hand made a winding stem. Restored the movement, running very well. Just shows what is achievable with the correct equipment and experience.
Watch was stored in wet conditions. Hands totally rusted. Movement rusty. Winding stem broken.
Case in poor condition.
We were able to obtain easily all of the correct parts from OMEGA. Service the movement well within original specs. The broken bracelet link is not available, so we made one to match. Customer was very happy.
After photo. How it should look!
This was a disaster by a local “watchmaker”. He charged the client a lot of money to, paint 24 hour disc silver, then use black marking pen on it. What looks like Liquid Paper on the hands, super glued parts of the movement together. Then “fixed” the bracelet with a paper clip. Needless to say, it didn’t work either. Supposed to be fully trained overseas.
After full restoration. The client was told by many repairers it was an impossible job. We regularly get these outcomes in our restoration centre. We have 3 professional qualified watchmakers. This work is our specialty.

Damaged and rusted parts before restoration.
Inside case back is plated brass. This also needed restoration.
Our customer inherited this stopwatch made for the horse racing industry. Circa 1920. Case, movement and hands badly rusted. Client requested it be fully functional, but not remove all pitting damage on the case to keep some patina and the original crystal left with scratches.
Restored exactly to customers expectation. New hands manufactured to exactly match original style. Now fully functional. Had not worked in decades.
Before restoration. Hands rusted beyond repair. Movement rusted requiring major re-build. New winding crown and bow supplied. Was told before many times it was not possible to repair.
Major restoration of a circa 1920 pocket watch to wrist conversion. Fully functional and looking as great as it did 100 years ago.
Completed restoration. Movement running great. Chronograph functional. Hands polished and heat blued. Antique glass crystal fitted. Perfect leather strap supplied. Customer very happy with the result.
Case and hands in poor condition and rusty. Hasn’t functioned in over 60 years.
Movement and case rusted. Movement and chronograph non-functional. Winding crown with stop/start pusher broken and rusted. Missing chronograph parts.
Movement mid restoration. New chronograph parts manufactured. Rust removed. New push piece crown made. Escapement repaired.
